Stock up on the bright yellow paper - you are going to need it with the SpongeBob Cricut cartridge!  I have to admit that I never thought this little sponge from Nickelodeon's cartoon lineup would be around as long as he has been.  My oldest son is now eleven, and I remember watching the first  episodes with him when he was just a toddler.  Now, years later, they are still making new SpongeBob episodes (and my 11 year old is still watching them).  However, for the icing on the cake, there's now even a Cricut cartridge featuring this character and his group of friends - who knew!

Some people like paper piecing.  Some don't.  If you buy this cartridge, you might want to belong to the first group.  There are an awful lot of layering options included as creative features, and you will want to use them all to really bring your characters to life and make them realistic looking.  Paper piecing takes a lot of patience, as well as good lighting, tweezers, and adhesive suited for small pieces, such as the Zig 2 way glue pens.   [Read more...]
